Neat - albeit regrettably single! - WH (Luftwaffe) neatly 'cyphered', officers'-type shoulderboard as piped in the blue-coloured branchcolour as was intended for an: 'Oberleutnant u. Arzt eines Sanitäts-Abteilungs'

The attractive - albeit regrettably single! - WH (Luftwaffe) officers'-type (and neatly 'cyphered'!) shoulderboard is piped in the neat darker-blue- (ie. 'blauer'-) coloured branchcolour and was as such intended for - and/or with certainty worn by! - an: 'Oberleutnant u. Arzt eines Sanitäts-Abteilungs' (or: lieutnant first-class and doctor who served within a medical unit) and comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used-, worn- and/or: carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The shoulderboard is a 'text-book'-example of a 'Luftwaffe'-type, 'Sanitäts-Truppen'-related shoulderboard and shows the silver-coloured (ie. somewhat 'shiny'-pattern) 'upperdeck' (as can be noticed on the pictures). The board shows the darker-blue- (ie. 'blauer'-) coloured branchcolour (and was constructed from the typical 'smooth'-type wool as to be expected). The board never had a tongue attached and was clearly used as a board of the 'sew-in-'type (as can be seen on the pictures). It measures approximately 11,3 cms. in length and was most certainly issued- and/or worn as such and does show some moderate age, wear and/or staining as to be expected. The board shows a (bright-golden-toned, larger-sized) so-called: 'Aesculapus'-cypher (ie. 'Ziffer') and single pip period-attached (which devices are just minimally stained- ie. tarnished). This board still shows some glue- (ie. carton-) remains and originates from an older shoulderboard-collection and was once glued into an album or scrapbook: it came with a silver-toned- and 'pebbled'-styled tunic-button attached. Simply an attractive shoulderboard that belonged to an: 'Oberleutnant u. Arzt eines Sanitäts-Abteilungs'!
