Attractive - blue-rimmed- and neatly enamelled! - honorary membership-lapel-pin (ie. 'Ehrenzeichen') as was intended for servive within the: 'Nat. Soc. Kriegsopferversorsung' (ie. 'N.S.K.O.V.') being a maker- (ie. 'S&L'-) marked example

The attractive - typically blue-rimmed- and neatly enamelled! - honorary membership-lapel-pin (ie. 'Ehrenzeichen') was intended for (loyal) service within the: 'Nationalsozialistischer Kriegsopferversorsung' (ie. 'N.S.K.O.V.') and is executed in golden-toned metal (ie. I deem 'Buntmetall'). It deals with a very nicely preserved example that shows some moderate age, wear and/or staining but that has simply no defaults whatsoever. The lapel-pin is nicely maker-marked with a makers'-designation (ie. typical) logo on its back denoting that it was produced by the maker (ie. 'Hersteller') named: 'Steinhauer & Lück' as was based in the town of Lüdenscheid (as can be seen on the pictures). The lapel-pin - which comes mounted on its functional pin- ie. pin-catch-set-up - is also figured in the 'Heering-Hüsken Abzeichen'-catalogue, wherein a similar example is given a unique reference-number (nr. 5706B) and an estimated value of 125 Eu. The 'Raute'-shaed piece on offer here comes mounted onto its functional pin- (ie. pin-/catch-) set-up and was - I deem - never cleaned nor polished and shows some regular age and staining (it shows, however, a fully preserved and undamaged enamelled surface (as can be seen on the pictures). I deem that I have priced this attractive 'N.S.K.O.V.-Ehrenzeichen' accordingly!
