This is an attractive - albeit clearly used- and/or worn- but nevertheless not that easily found! - example of a WH (Luftwaffe) machine-embroidered, so-called: trade- ie. special-career-patch (ie. 'Tätigkeitsabzeichen') having a golden-yellow-coloured 'Goldkordel' period-attached as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Schirrmeister o. Geräteverwalter' (ie. equipment-maintenance staff-member) and that comes in an overall nice- (and most certainly worn- ie. once tunic-attached-), condition. The badge - which has the neat 'golden' (ie. yellow) 'cord-like border' (ie. 'Goldkordel') attached - signified that the bearer had a one years'-service in this speciality. The piece is nicely machine-woven on a LW bluish-grey-coloured- and/or woolen-based background and shows some minor staining and/or fair wear. These badges ranked actually amongst the 'award-category' and came together with an official award-document and had to be properly entered in both 'Soldbuch' and 'Wehrpass'. Simply an attractive - and not that often encountered! - LW-'Tätigkeits-Abzeichen' that is not that easily found!
