Superb - and fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres) 'cyphered' officers'-type shoulderboards as was intended for - and clearly used by! - a: 'Leutnant des schweres Werfer-Regiments 1 (mot)'

The very attractive WH (Heeres) - neatly 'cyphered' and actually scarcely found! - WH (Heeres) shoulderboard-pair on offer here is piped in the desirable, darker-purple-red- (ie. 'bordeaux-roter'-) coloured branchcolour and was as such intended for usage (and clearly used by!) a: 'Leutnant des schweres Werfer-Regiments 1 (mot)' (or: junior-officer- ie. lieutnant who served within the army, motorised smoke-troops-related unit ie. regiment, numbered: '1') and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. most certainly issued and/or moderately used- ie. worn- and carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The truly attractive shoulderboards are 'text-book'-examples of the 'Heeres'-type, 'Nebelwerfer'-related officers'-pattern shoulderboards and have the greysish-silver-coloured (ie. somewhat-sub-dued-) 'upperdecks' (making this a pair that was - I deem - intended for usage on a typical 'front-used'-tunic). The boards show the desirable darker-purple-red- (ie. 'bordeaux-roter'-) coloured branchcolour (and were constructed from the typical smooth-type wool as more often seen). The boards come mounted onto their (smaller-sized) officers-type tongues attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The boards measure approximately 11,7 cms. in length each and show a (matching, smaller-sized, golden-toned- and/or 'Buntmetall'-based) pair of '1'-numerals ie. cyphers (ie. 'Ziffern') period-attached denoting the junior-officers'-rank of: 'Leutnant' (ie. lieutnant). The pair was, however, clearly used as such and does show some age, wear and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply an attractive WH (Heeres) shoulderboard-pair pair that belonged to a: 'Leutnant des schweres Werfer-Regiments 1 (mot)' and that is accordingly priced!
