This is an attractive - truly worn and nowadays hard to find! - example of a so-called: 'BeVo'-woven, enlisted-mens'- (ie. NCO-) type so-called: 'runes'-collar-tab as was intended for usage by the soldiers (ie. NCOs) of the Waffen-SS throughout the war and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. I deem clearly- ie. moderately used- and/or carefully tunic-removed-), condition. This collar-tab was - I deem - as stated above moderately used and worn (it presumably originated from the Dachau-clothing-depots and originates from the USA where it was stored for decades as a so-called: 'veteran bring-back'-item). The collar-tab - which is excuted in greyish-white-coloured linnen on a black-coloured and/or linnen-based background - has the 'standard'-pattern, white-coloured- and/or 'buckram'-based backing as is more often encountered with these attractive 'runes'-collar-tabs. The piece shows clear age, wear and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a 100% garuanteed original, 'BeVo'-woven SS 'Runes'-collar-tab: hard to find a more attractive and truly used example for a more interesting price!
