Attractive - and truly scarcely encountered! - HJ- (ie. 'Flieger-HJ') specialist-cuff-title (or: 'Schul-Ärmelstreifen') depicting the text: 'Fl. Techn. Vorschule - Braunschweig'

This is an attractive - and actually scarcely encountered! - HJ ('Hitlerjugend'- ie. 'Flieger-HJ'-) related so-called: specialist-cuff-title (or: 'Schul-Ärmelstreifen') depicting the (Gothic-styled) text: 'Flg. Techn. Vorschule - Braunschweig' and that comes in an overall nice- (I deem clearly issued-, moderately worn and/or carefully tunic-removed-), condition. These neat cuff-titles signified membership within one of the (Luftwaffe-related!) technical preparatory-airforce-schools (or institutes). The piece on offer here shows membership within such a school based in the town of Braunschweig: there were several of these youth training-institutes - it is said that 32 of such schools existed! - that mostly functioned under the direction of one the larger air-craft industrial companies (such as: 'Focke Wulf', 'Messerschmitt' and others). The neat cuff-title - executed in bright-blue-coloured (linnen-based) stitching onto a black-coloured- and/or linnen-based background - is void of an extra backing and measures 37 x 3 cms.: it has two unfinished ends and just shows some minimal age, wear and/or staining (as can be noticed on the pictures). These neat cuff-titles saw limited usage and were in 1944 replaced by the circular-shaped badges having a similar text. Simply a very attractive - and surely scarcely encountered! - youth-related cuff-title ie. 'HJ-Schul-Ärmelstreifen' that was intended for usage by a student serving within the: 'Flg. Techn. Vorschule - Braunschweig'!
