The neat - and early-period! - badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is executed in golden-coloured- (ie. tin- ie. copper-based) metal: it shows some normal wear and/or moderate age but has been nicely preserved. The badge comes naturally mounted onto its functional pin- ie. catch set-up and has (I deem) never been cleaned nor polished: it shows some minimal age ie. staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'tinnie' - that depicts the famous 'Kyfhäuser'-monument and 'swastika'-device and bearing the text: 'Sachsentreffen N.S.D.A.P. 1933' - is very detailed and retains truly all of its fairly bright and/or: minimally tarnished golden-coloured finish. It should be noted that all N.S.D.A.P.-related tinnies that were intended to commemorate an event at regional- (ie. 'Kreis'-) level (such as the piece on offer here) saw much more limited usage and can easily be graded 'scarce'. Simply a neat and not that often seen N.S.D.A.P.-related 'tinnie' that is accordingly priced!
