Attractive - incomplete but nevertheless scarcely encountered! - bright-golden-toned WH (Kriegsmarine) cap-eagle as was specifically intended for attachment onto the (white- and/or blue-topped-) KM (NCO- ie. officers'-type visor-caps

This is an attractive - albeit regrettably incomplete but nevertheless actually fairly scarcely encountered! - example of a WH (Kriegsmarine) visor-cap-eagle (ie. 'Adler für Schirmmützen der Uffz. u. Offiziere der Kriegsmarine') as was specifically intended for attachment onto the (white- and/or blue-topped-) Kriegsmarine (NCO- ie. officers'-type visor-caps (ie. 'Schirmmützen') and that comes in an overall very nice- (and I deem just moderately worn ie. used-) condition. The piece on offer here is executed in bright-golden-toned metal (ie. I deem frosted aluminium) and still retains a fully preserved (and/or neaty 'feuervergoldeter') finish. Most of its high-polished sides (ie. 'hochpolierte Kanten') are also nicely preserved (as can be seen on the pictures). The attractive piece has never been cleaned but regrettably misses (as stated above) its original, longer-sized pin (which was broken-off as can be seen on the pictures). The piece shows a clearly-present makers'-designation (comprising of a capital 'A'-character and numeral: '41' denoting that it was produced by the: 'Assmann u. Söhne'-company in the year: 1941. Simply a very attractive - and truly not that easily encountered! - naval replacement-piece that is naturally priced according to its broken-off pin!
