This is a truly very attractive - very rarely encountered and naturally 100% original! - typical Waffen-SS officers-type, woven arm-eagle (ie. 'Ärmeladler für Führer der Waffen-SS') as executed in the neat flat-wire 'BeVo'-weave-pattern as was intended for an officer who served within the SS-troops throughout the war and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. I deem clearly issued-, moderately worn and/or once tunic-attached-), condition. The detailed piece was carfeully fine-trimmed and pre-folded and was carefully tunic-removed (some of the stitching-holes are still visible and present): moreover, has it once been glued into an album or scrapbook and still shows some minimal carton-remains on its back. It deals naturally with a 100% text-book- (and as stated above) original example that originates from a US-veteran who 'liberated' this piece in 1945. The piece shows some truly minimal age, wear and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures).
