The truly very attractive officers'- (ie. evt. NCO-) pattern collar-tab (ie. 'Kragenspiegel für Führer u. Unterführer der Waffen-SS') is of the (typical) 'flat-wire'-woven-pattern that was intended for usage by the various Waffen-SS, comissioned- (ie. officers'-) staff throughout the war and comes as stated in a wonderful- (and - I deem - moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The tab is executed in black-coloured, 'smooth-type' linnen-based material and shows the somewhat shiny, machine-embroidered double 'runes'-signs as to be expected. The piece has clearly been used and does show some obvious wear and age (as can be seen on the pictures). It also shows a 'standard'-pattern, beige-brownish-coloured and/or: 'buckram'-based backing as to be expected but is void of an RzM-etiket (which might well be once-attached but got lost over the years). As stated above, was the piece once-tunic-attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece shows extraordinary machine-embroidery and/or craftmenship. It should be noted that these flat-wire-woven-pattern, 'Waffen-SS', officers'-type-'runes'-collar-tabs can easily be graded 'very scarce'. I deem that I have priced this very attractive and desirable piece accordingly!
