I recently uncovered four - fully identical! - examples of the typical white-coloured- and/or linnen-based WH (Heeres) armband (ie. 'Armbinde') as executed in the somewhat thicker-styled, linnen-based fabric as was specifically intended for the various medical- ie. WH (Heeres) staff-members working as: 'Hilfs-Krankenträger' (or: assistant brancard-carriers) and that come all four in an unconfectioned- ie. 'virtually mint- ie. unissued', condition. The armbands - which show the interwoven, black-coloured text on a white-coloured- and/or linnen-based cloth - come in a full-length condition and measure (non-folded- nor stitched-together) approximately 40 x 10,5 cms. each. The pieces are void of an ink-stamp (which is not unusual) and just show some minimal staining simply caused by storage for decades only. The armbands on offer here are nice examples of the neat 'weave'-technique as was employed by the TR-period, cloth-producing companies such as the 'BeVo'-company of Wuppertal and are actually not that easily encountered. My asking-price is naturally intended per single armband. Simply a nice opportunity to acquire a mint 'Hilfs-Krankenträger'-armband for a competitive price!
