I recently found an original (period!) carton box that held six - fully identical! - examples of the 'standard-issue'-pattern, WH sun- (ie. protective-) glasses (or: 'Schützbrille') of the make ie. type: 'Zeiss - Umbral' that came stored in their period, typical light-brown-coloured- and/or 'plastic-like'-based (ie. 'Ersatz'-type) etui and that come all six in a 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'- and/or simply never worn- nor used, condition. The pairs - which are all six constructed from greyish-coloured, genuine leather - come with their fully undamaged (brown-coloured) glasses in place and still hold their period-attached and fully elastic carrying-straps (ie. 'Haltebänder'). The pairs came stored in their period, typical light-brown-coloured- and/or 'plastic-like'-based etui (that all have a functional (by 'Prym'- marked) 'snap' in place as can be seen on the pictures. Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that these specimen came with their period instruction-leaflets. These neat service-glasses saw widespread-usage througout the war and numerous pictures exist wherein this type of equipment is seen being worn. All six sets show some minimal storage-age only (but are fully functional and totally undamaged). My asking-price is naturally per single set/pair. Simply a nice occasion to acquire a neat - and fully complete! - 'Wehrmacht'-equipment-item that is not that often offered for sale in this 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'-condition!
