Attractive - and fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres), early- (ie. pre-) war-period- (ie. 'M36 o. 40'-pattern) neatly 'cyphered' NCO-type shoulderstraps as was intended for usage by an: 'Oberfeldwebel des Infanterie-Regiments 82'
This is a very attractive - and/or fully matching and actually not that easily found! - pair of WH (Heeres), early- (ie. pre-) war-period (ie. 'M36 o. 40'-pattern), neatly 'cyphered' NCO-type shoulderstraps as piped in the neat white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for usage by an: 'Oberfeldwebel des Infanterie-Regiments 82' (or: sergeant first-class who served within the infantry-regiment, numbered: '82') and that comes in overall very nice- (albeit moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The neat straps - which are both approximately 12,2 cms. sized in length - have the 'standard-pattern', dark-green-coloured- and/or smooth-woolen-based 'upperdecks' and shows the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured- and/or desirable 'silk-like'-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The shoulderstraps show the ('standard-pattern'), bright-silver-coloured NCO-braid attached and show each a pair of (larger-sized- and/or aluminium-based) '8'- and/or '2'-numerals (ie. 'Ziffern') and four (regular-sized- and also aluminium-based) pips period-attached, denoting that the pair was intended for an NCO with the rank of: 'Oberfeldwebel' (ie. sergeant first-class). All eight devices do show some regular age and/or minimal tarnish (as can be seen on the pictures). The pair is clearly a 'standard-issued'- (ie. non-privately-purchased!) pair. It comes mounted onto its functional tongues and does show some minimal age-, wear and/or minimal staining (as can be seen on the pictures). These type of shoulderstraps are of the fairly early-war-period pattern straps and were worn in the period around 1939/1940 (and were 'worn-out' even during the rest of the war). This particular pair originated from a private-household in Germany where it was recently found. Simply an attractive - and with certainty desirable! - 'cyphered', 'Infanterie'-related NCO-type shoulderstrap-pair that belonged to an: 'Oberfeldwebel des Infanterie-Regiments 82': I deem that I priced this attractive pair according to its very nice and fully untouched condition!
