This is a truly attractive - and actually scarcely encountered! - WH (Heeres) gorget (ie. 'Brustschild o. Ringkragen') entitled: 'Feldgendarmerie' (as was intended for usage by the various army field-police-officials) being a non-maker-marked example that comes mounted onto its period-attached chain (ie. 'Kette') as issued and that comes in a truly minimally used- ie. hardly worn- (ie. 'virtually mint'-, condition. The neatly silver-toned piece is very detailed and very pronounced in execution: it was (I deem) only minimally used ie. worn and is void of any real damage or alike: it has a fully preserved painted surface that is void of any (paint)damage as can be seen on the pictures. The piece shows extraordinary detail and shows some minimal age and/or slight staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The attractive gorget (which still shows its period-attached, beige-coloured- and/or carton-based 'backing' in place) came with its (non- ie. partly-detachable) chain that fully retains its silver-toned- and/or steel-based 'chains' (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece retains very nicely preserved (ie. fully present!) luminous-painted details ( as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a very attractive - and nowadays truly scarcely encountered! - field-police- ie. 'Feldgendarmerie'-related equipment-item that comes in a wonderful condition: maybe the best such example I ever had on offer!
