This is a truly attractive - and fully matching! - medal-set: 'Winterschlacht im Osten 1941-42' (or: Eastern Front medal) comprising of a neatly maker- (ie. '110'-) marked specimen that comes packed in its original pouch of issue as was produced by the maker- (ie. 'Hersteller') named: 'Otto Zappe' as based in the town of Gablonz a.d. N. and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. I deem issued- but simply never worn-), condition. The medal came together with its original, minimally confectioned-, pre-folded (and approx. 19 cms. long-sized-) ribbon and came packed in its neat ('Zellstoff'-based-) and/or: beige-brown-coloured, carton-based pouch that is complete and functional (as can be seen on the pictures). The medal - which is a truly very nicely preserved zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based specimen - was I deem issued but simply never used nor worn. The medal has a quite 'matted' (ie. greyish-blue-) coloured age-patina and was most certainly never cleaned nor polished and therefore are details and/or finish still very nice and/or crisp. The pouch comes as stated above in an equally nice condition and shows the printed makers'-designation of the: 'Otto Zappe'-company as based in the town of Gablonz a.d. N. (as is printed on its back as stated above). Simply one of the nicest - and fully matching! - 'Ost'-medal-sets by this particular maker I had on offer for quite some time!
