Attractive - and matching! - pair of: 'Stahlhelmbund'- (ie. 'Der Stahlhelm' o. Bund der Frontsoldaten (Sta)') collar-patches showing the silver-toned- (and 'Buntmetall'-based) 'Wehrsport'-devices (ie. 'Kragenspiegel-Auflagen') period-attached

This is an attractive - fully matching and actually not that easily encountered! - pair of: 'Stahlhelmbund'- (ie. 'Der Stahlhelm' o. Bund der Frontsoldaten (Sta)') collar-patches (ie. 'Kragenspiegel') showing the silver-toned- (and typical silvered 'Buntmetall'-based) 'Wehrsport'-devices (ie. 'Kragenspiegel-Auflagen') period-attached and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used ie. worn and/or once-tunic-removed)-, condition. Both collar-patches - which show with all originally-attached prongs present - are constructed from black-coloured (and velvet-based!) cloth and do show some regular age-patina ie. tarnished surface). The black-coloured text (on which the wording 'Wehrsport' figures) does show some regular age ie. wear: something that is also valid for the silverish-finish of both devices. The set was never before in a collection and was found at a private-household in Germany. Simply an attractive and most certainly not that often encountered 'Stahlhelmbund'-related item that is accordingly priced!
