Attractive - and not that easily encountered! - customs-related, 'cyphered' NCO-type shoulderboard-pair (ie. 'Schulterstücke des Reichsfinanzverwaltung- o. Zollgrenzschutz') being a pair that was intended for usage by a: 'Zollbetriebsassistent'

This is an attractive - and actually not that easily encountered! - customs- (ie. financial-police) related, 'cyphered' NCO-type shoulderboard-pair (ie. 'Schulterstück-Paar des Reichsfinanzverwaltung- o. Zollgrenzschutz') being a pair that was intended for usage by an official who held the rank of: 'Zollbetriebsassistant' (comparable with the NCO-rank of 'Unteroffizier' or: junior-sergeant) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit clearly used- and/or most certainly tunic-removed-), condition. The shoulderboards - which are 'text-book' in all facets and measure approximately 11,2 cms. in length each - are executed in the typical, darker-green-coloured- and 'smooth-type' wool having the silverish-grey- and green-striped (ie. somewhat 'sub-dued'-) upperdecks: I deem that as such they were intended for usage on a 'regular front-used' tunic. The boards never had any tongues attached (and were intended and used as a pair of the 'sew-in'-pattern and do just show some minimal age caused by moderate wear and/or decades of storage (as can be seen on the pictures). The boards show a matching pair of (regular-sized, identical, neatly golden-toned- and I deem 'Buntmetall'-based-): 'RFV'-cyphers period-attached (denoting the NCO-rank of: 'Zollbetriebsassistent'). Both devices are just minimally tarnished but are still very nice and/or pronounced (as can be seen on the pictures). The shoulderboards originate from a private-household where they were recently uncovered. Simply a neat 'Zoll- o. Reichsfinanzverwaltung'-related shoulderboard-pair that is actually not that often encountered: I deem that I have priced this neat pair accordingly!
