This is an attractive - and I deem hardly used-, worn- nor mounted! - example of a '1957'-pattern: 'Medaille Winterschlacht im Osten 1941-42' (ie. Ost-medal) and that comes together with its full-length- (ie. non-confectioned- and/or 'virtually mint' ie. 19 cms. sized-) ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt') as issued and/or recently found. The detail on the award is truly stunning and nicely preserved: it has - I deem - never been cleaned nor polished and has an attractive and/or minimally tarnished age-patina (as can be seen on the pictures). It retains nice details and shows a nicely preserved finish and is void of any damage or loss of finish. Simply an attractive '1957-version' of a: 'Medaille Winterschlacht im Osten 1941-42' that is with certainty accordingly priced!
