Attractive, WWI- (ie. TR-) period so-called: 'Ordenspange' (being of the desirable 'detachable'-pattern!) showing resp. an: 'EK II. Kl.'. a: 'FKK 1914-18 mit Schw.' and a: 'Deutsche Volkspflege'- (ie. civil-service-) medal

This is an attractive - and in this unusually seen combination scarcely found! - example of a WWI- (ie. Third Reich-) period, so-called: 'Ordenspange' (of the desirable 'detachable'-pattern!) and that is respectively showing a WWI-period: 'Eisernes Kreuz II. Klasse' (or: iron cross second class), a WWI-period: 'Frontkämpferkreuz 1914-18 mit Schwertern' (ie.: 'Kriegsteilnehmerkreuz 1914-18 mit Schw.') and a: 'Deutsche Volkspflege'- (ie. civil-service-) medal and that comes as issued, moderately worn and/or recently found. The detail on the 'EKII. Klasse' (that shows the makers'-designation: 'S.W.' stamped into its ring) is truly stunning and nicely preserved: it has - I deem - never been cleaned nor polished and has an attractive and/or minimally tarnished age-patina (as can be seen on the pictures). It retains nice details and has a nicely preserved, black-finished (ie. somewhat 'satin-like'- ie. 'shiny-style') core and is void of any damage or paint-loss. The 'FKK 1914-18' shows a somewhat vaguely but surely present makers'-designation on its back (that reads: 'F.V.Pforzheim 29.' as can be seen on the pictures). The detail on this award is also nicely preserved but it does show some tarnished age-patina and some minimal staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'Deutsche Volkspflege'- (ie. civil-service-) medal is - I deem - executed in silverish-coloured 'Buntmetall'-based metal and is a very detailed and/or pronounced example that retains a fully preserved age-patina (as can be seen on the pictures). All three awards - which show their nicely preserved, period ribbons - come both 'period-mounted' onto a metal- (ie. shiny chrome-based!) 'clasp' that is not 'backed' (and that shows a functional pin- ie. catch-set-up and 'D.R.G.M.'-designation) as was intended for wearing this example on a 'going-out'- ie. dress-tunic or 'Waffenrock'. Simply an attractive WWI- (ie. Third Reich-) period, 'Ordenspange' showing an unusual combination and that is with certainty accordingly priced!
