The attractive - and typical (I deem) copper-based- ie. non-magnetic - '1957'-pattern, black-class wound-badge (ie. 'Verwundeten-Abzeichen in Schwarz') was (I deem) issued albeit hardly- or even never worn nor used: it comes in a truly very nicely preserved condition. Most (ie. all!) of its original, black-coloured- (and/or: somewhat 'matted'-styled- ie. satin-like) finish has been nicely preserved and the badge is just a tiny bit 'dusty' and/or minimally stained (as can be seen of the pictures). The badge is as stated a non-maker-marked example that comes mounted onto its (regular- ie. typically-shaped- and also non-magnetic) pin and/or catch (-set-up) fully functional and of course present. This piece has never been cleaned nor polished: it shows some minimal dust and/or staining as to be expected. Simply a neat example of a fully untouched 'Verwundeten-Abzeichen in Schwarz' of the: '1957'-pattern that is most certainly accordingly priced!
