This is a neat example of a silver-coloured- (and/or typically aluminium-based), WH (Heeres) ie. 'Artillerie'-related- and/or 'standard-issued'-pattern ID-disc (ie. 'Erkennungsmarke') that is bearing the (clearly!) stamped unit-designation that simply reads: '3./A.R.45' (and as such being a disc that was intended for a soldier or NCO who served within the third company of the: 'Artillerie-Regiment 45' (ie.: artillery regiment numbered: '45') and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit clearly used ie. worn-), condition. The attractive disc comes in an overall nice condition (and is executed in an attractive letter-type!) and shows the clear evidence of having been used ie. worn (as can be seen on the pictures). The disc shows an impressed bearers'-blood-group-type ('type A') something that was more often seen. The disc was never cleaned nor polished (it is still a bit stained and/or dirty). The disc originates from a larger ID-disc collection that was compiled over many years. Simply an attractive and honest WH (Heeres) ie. 'Artillerie'-related ID-disc that is accordingly priced!
