Neat - and I deem never used- nor cap-attached - greyish-silver-toned- and/or typical zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based, WH (Luftwaffe) visor- (ie. 'Schirmmützen'-) cap-eagle (being a maker- (ie. 'A'-) marked example of the regular second-type pattern) Neat - and I deem never used- nor cap-attached - greyish-silver-toned- and/or typical zinc- (ie. This is a neat - and I deem simply never used- nor cap-attached - greyish-silver-toned- and/or typical zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based, WH (Luftwaffe) visor- (ie. 'Schirmmützen'-) cap-eagle being a maker- (ie. 'A'- or: 'Assmann'-) marked example of the regular second-type pattern that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. simply never cap-attached- ie. 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'-), condition. These specific cap-eagles were intended for usage on the various WH (Luftwaffe) visor-caps (ie. 'Schirmmützen'-) and saw usage throughout the war. The eagle on offer here has truly great pronounced detail and retains both its (copper-based) pins ie. prongs in place (which are naturally never bent and that are of course still fully functional). The piece - which is I deem of a mid- ie. later-war-period-production - shows a makers'-designation (on the back of the swastika) as more often encountered (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece which is minimally-converse-shaped has an approximate 'wingspan' of 6,7 cms. and has a typical silverish-grey- and/or: minimally tarnished 'age-patina' (as can be seen on the pictures). It should be noted that excellent copies of this specific cap-eagle do exist: this is naturally a fine and 100% genuine example that originates from the left-overs of an old tailor-shop. Simply a nice opportunity to acquire an attractive WH (Luftwaffe) visor- (ie. 'Schirmmützen'-) cap-eagle: it will be impossible to upgrade this attractive- and/or fully untouched example!
