This is an attractive - fully matching and carefully tunic-removed! - pair of WH (Heeres) officers'-type shoulderboards as piped in the neat bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Hauptmann eines (Sturm)Artillerie-Regiments o. Abteilungs' (or: captain who served within a (sturm)artillery-related, regiment ie. unit) and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. clearly issued- and/or worn- ie. once tunic-attached-), condition. The neat boards - which are executed in the typical 'smooth'-like- and/or bright-red-coloured wool (aka 'moleskin'-wool) measure approximately 11,5 cms. in length each and have the greyish-silver-coloured- ie. truly sub-dued 'upperdecks'. The boards never had any tongues attached and were clearly intended to be used as a pair of the 'sew-in'-type (as can be seen on the pictures). The boards show four (golden-toned, identical and I deem zinc-based) pips period-attached (which devices are very detailed and/or pronounced and that were attached BEFORE the boards were completely assembled(!) as can be seen on the pictures). The pair was clearly issued and/or moderately worn ie. once-mounted onto a tunic. This particular WH (Heeres) shoulderboard-pair originated from a larger cloth- ie. shoulderstrap-collection I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply a very attractive, officers'-type shoulderboard-pair that belonged to a: 'Hauptmann eines (Sturm)Artillerie-Regiments o. Abteilungs' and that is accordingly priced!
