This is an attractive - and with certainty scarcely encountered! - bright-blue-coloured- and EM- (ie. NCO-) pattern, so-called: 'Reichsluftschutzbund' (ie. 'RLB'-) service-armband (ie. 'Dienst-Armbinde') that is depicting a capital, white-coloured (and linnen-based) 'O'-character onto a bright blue-toned background as was specifically intended for usage by a member serving as an: 'RLB-Ortner' (ie. air-raid-warden caretaker) and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'- and I deem simply never tunic-attached-), condition. These attractive armbands were worn on the various blue-coloured RLB- (ie. eventually WLS- ie. 'Werk-Luftschutz'-related) tunics throughout the war. The nicely detailed armband on offer here - which measures folded approximately 37 x 12 cms. - simply shows no wear nor damage whatsoever: it just shows some minimal staining ie. storage-age only (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply an attractive - and with certainty scarcely encountered! - 'Reichsluftschutzbund' (ie. 'RLB'-) service-armband as was specifically intended for usage by an: 'RLB-Ortner'!
