This is an attractive - never used- nor cap-attached! - example of a WH (Luftwaffe) cap-eagle (ie.'Mützenadler für Schiffchen o. Einheitsfeldmütze') being a 'standard-issue'-pattern example that is executed on a black-coloured background and that was as such intended for usage on the black-coloured work- (ie. 'HG'-) related side-caps ie. 'Schiffchen' and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'-), example. The piece is executed on a black-coloured- and/or woolen-based background and was as such intended for usage on the black-coloured 'HBT'-based work- (ie. regular black-woolen-based) 'Hermann Göring-Division'-related side-caps (ie. 'Schiffchen'). The piece has great pronounced detail and can naturally easily be used to restore or complete any black-coloured 'Luftwaffe'-side-cap (or even 'M43'-type field-cap ie.
