Attractive, early- (ie. most certainly pre-war-) period so-called: 'Deutsches Luftsport Verband'- (ie. DLV-) related- and/or machine-embroidered, sportshirt-patch as was worn to signify membership within this TR-period airforce-related organisation

This is a nicely executed example of a: 'Deutsches Luftsport Verband'- (ie. DLV-) related- and neatly machine-embroidered (by means of typical: 'Kurbelstickerei'), so-called: sportshirt-patch (ie. 'Abzeichen für das Sporthemd') as was worn to signify membership within this airforce-related organisation and that comes in an overall nice- (and - I deem - only moderately used- ie. once tunic-attached-), condition. The DLV was an in the year 1933 formed organisation and was Germany's first move to establish the (later formed) airforce, the 'Luftwaffe'. The sportshirt-patch on offer here was only worn for a short period of time. The patch comes in an overall nice and only minimally worn and/or carefully tunic-removed condition. The fairly large-sized patch - that has an approximate wingspan of 15 cms. - is neatly machine-embroidered in multi-coloured linnen on a bluish-grey coloured- (and/or linnen-based) background (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply an attractive - and actually scarcely encountered! - 'DLV'-related sportshirt-patch that is not often offered for sale!
