Attractive - and with certainty not often encountered! - greyish-coloured- and/or genuine leather-based purse (ie. 'Geldbörse') showing the golden-toned and neatly impressed text: '3.(mot) Pi. 33'

This is an attractive - and with certainty not often encountered! - greyish-coloured- and/or genuine leather-based purse (ie. 'Geldbörse') showing the golden-toned and neatly impressed text that simply reads: '3.(mot) Pi. 33' (and that was as such used by a member who served within the 3rd company of the motorised, 'Pioniere (ie. army-engineers'-) regiment, numbered: '33' and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used-), condition. The small-sized piece (measuring approximately 7 x 7 cms.) can be 'folded-open' and shows a separate storage-compartment. The piece - which can I deem be dated somewhere in the mid-war-period - originates from a private-household in Germany where it was recently uncovered as issued and stored as such for decades: it has a broken (ie. non-functional) zipper in place (as can be seen on these pictures). These neat purses could be purchased by the soldiers in canteens and/or casinos (aka 'Wehrmachtsheime') and were a much favoured personal accesory. Simply an attractive and with certainty unusually seen commemorative TR- ie. 'Pioniere'-related souvenir-piece!
