Stunning, 'Wiederholungsspange zum EK I. This is a very attractive - and most certainly issued- and moderately worn and truly rarely encountered! - example of a so-called: 'Wiederholungsspange zum EK I. Klasse' (or bar to the WWI IC first class) being a typical non-maker-marked (ie. 'Buntmetall-versilbertes') example that comes mounted onto its (rarely seen!) 'clam-shell-type'-mounting as was produced by the desirable maker (ie. 'Hersteller') named: 'Wilhelm Deumer' as was based in the town of Lüdenscheid and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit most certainly issued- and I deem just moderately used- and/or worn-), condition. The detailed piece retains a fair bit of its so-called 'high-polished sides (or 'hochpolierte Kanten') and is very pronounced as to be expected: it naturally retains its functional (and totally unaltered) 'clam-shell-type'-mounting- (ie. 'An der Schraube'-) set-up (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'Spange' is as stated above only minimally stained ie. dirty: it retains a very nice age-patina and was I deem never cleaned nor polished. These attractive - by the 'Wilhelm Deumer'-company produced 'Wiederholungsspangen zum EK I. Klasse' that come mounted onto their 'clam-shell-type'-mounting - are truly rarely encountered and are not that often appearing on todays'-market. Simply a superb example that is with certainty accordingly priced!
