Superb - and fairly scarcely encountered! - hand-embroidered, 'Allgemeine-SS'-sleeve-diamond (ie.: 'Ärmelraute') as was specifically intended for a marksman of the first-class (ie. 'SS-Schützenabzeichen der I. Schiessklasse')

This is a very attractive - and fairly scarcely encountered! - neatly hand-embroidered, so-called: 'Allgemeine-SS'-sleeve-diamond (ie.: 'Ärmelraute') as was specifically intended for a marksman of the first-class (ie. 'SS-Schützenabzeichen der I. Schiessklasse') and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. I deem never used- ie. 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'-) condition. The neat piece which was - I deem - probably issued but that was never worn (and that does not show any oxidation nor damage or alike) is executed in the neat black-coloured- and/or: smooth- (ie. 'moleskin'-) type wool and shows the hand-embroidered 'double circles' and oak-leaves-device (and thus being an example of the first-class (ie. 'SS-Schützenabzeichen der I. Schiessklasse'): the shown craftmanship on the hand-embroidery is really stunning and/or truly pronounced. The piece - which is neatly 'backed' with the brownish-coloured 'buckram'-based material as to be expected - misses (it presumably once-attached) paper-based 'RzM'-etiket: it still shows some minimal glue-remains where the etiket was once attached (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a fantastic - and fairly uncommonly found! - piece of ('Allgemeine') SS-cloth-insignia that will be hard to be upgraded: only the third such attractive piece I ever had on offer!
