This is a neat - and unusually somewhat larger-sized! - example of a five-pieced, WWII-period ribbon-bar (ie. 'Feld- o. Bandspange') respectively showing the ribbons for an: 'Eisernes Kreuz II. Klasse' (or: iron cross 2nd class), a: 'Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse mit Schwertern' (or: War Merits' Cross second class with swords), a: WH (Heeres o. Kriegsmarine) 'Dienstauszeichnung für 4 Jahre Treue Dienste' (or: service-award for 4-years of loyal-service), a: WH Czech 'Anschluss'- (ie. occupation-) medal: '1 Oktober 1938' (as was given to all members of the armed forces that participated in the German occupation of Czecoslovakia, which started on 1 October 1938) and a: 'Luftschutz-Ehrenzeichen 2. Stufe' (or: air-raid warden medal 2nd class). The piece comes in an overall very nice- (albeit used and/or moderately worn-), condition. The - detailed! - devices have a neat and/or minimally 'frosted' albeit detailed appearance: they both retain a nice and/or bright-coloured age-patina. The piece - with shows all five bars in the 'standard'- ie. smaller (1,5 cm. wide-) version and that is confectioned in a 'regular manner' - is fully functional and comes mounted onto its functional pin- and/or catch set-up: the piece is not 'backed' with a piece of wool but comes mounted onto a metal-based 'backing-plate' as is more often seen. Simply an attractive WWII-period, 5-pieced 'Feld- o. Bandspange': ideal to upgrade or decorate almost any TR-related tunic!
