The attractive - and most certainlly not that often seen! - day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is executed in typical greyish-silver-coloured- and/or tin-based metal: it is totally void of any usage nor wear and came (period!) mounted onto a piece of carton that was (presumably) 'cut-out' of a sample-book (ie. 'Musterbuch'). The badge comes natuarlly mounted onto its functional- (and non-altered-) pin-/catch set-up and has most certainly never been cleaned nor polished: it shows some minimal staining (as can be seen on the pictures) but is still very detailed and/or pronounced. The 'tinnie' shows a detailed swastika 'sunburst', horizontally placed sword and illustration of a church-complex in the town of Neustadt and retains all of its (somewhat shiny) silverish-grey-coloured finish. Moreover, does it show the name of its designer (a certain 'Bernd' as can be noticed on the pictures). It should be noted that all 'N.S.D.A.P.-related tinnies that were intended to commemorate an event at regional- (ie. 'Kreis'-) level (such as the piece on offer here) saw much more limited usage and can easily be graded 'fairly scarce'). Simply a neat commemorative, N.S.D.A.P.-related 'tinnie' that is accordingly priced!
