Attractive - and fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres) early-war-period- (ie. 'M36'- ie. 'M40'-pattern, 'tailor-made', 'cyphered', NCO-type shoulderstraps as was intended for a: 'Feldwebel eines Kav.- o. Aufkl.-Schützen-Rgts.' This is a very attractive - and fully matching! - pair of (I deem) 'tailor-made'- (ie. 'privately-purchased'-) pattern, neatly 'cyphered' WH (Heeres) early-war period- (ie. 'M36'- ie. 'M40'-pattern and/or: rounded-styled) NCO-type shoulderstraps (ie. 'Schulterstücke für Unteroffiziere des Heeres') as was piped in the desirable golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Feldwebel eines Kavallerie- o. Aufklärungs-Schützen-Regiments' (or: sergeant who served within a cavalry-related-, reconnaissance unit ie. regiment) and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. just moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The neat straps - which have the 'standard'-pattern, darker-green-coloured and/or typical 'smooth woolen'- (ie. 'boiled wool') based 'upperdecks' and that measure approximately 11,5 cms. in length each - show the neat golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener') coloured and/or 'rayon'-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps show the (standard-pattern) silver-coloured (ie. somewhat sub-dued) NCO-braid attached and show a matching pair of silver-toned- (smaller-sized- and - I deem: zinc-based-) so-called: 'S'-'cyphers' (ie. 'Ziffern' and a pair of (also regular-sized- and aluminium-based) pips, period-attached denoting the NCOs-rank of: 'Feldwebel' (ie. sergeant). The straps - that show the typical silverish-toned NCO-braid attached - come naturally mounted onto their period-attached- (smaller-shaped- and also 'boiled-woolen'-based) tongues attached and come both in a nice- (ie. fully 'text-book') condition overall (as can be seen on the pictures). The pair - that came with a pair of field-grey-coloured- and pebbled-styled tunic-buttons - only shows moderate wear and/or age and is just very nicely preserved (as can be seen on the pictures). I deem this an excellent occasion to acquire a neat NCO-type, shoulderstrap-pair that belonged to a: 'Feldwebel eines Kavallerie- o. Aufklärungs-Schützen-Regiments' for a justified price!
