This is an attractive WH (Heeres-, Luftwaffe ie. Waffen-SS) light-brown- (ie. natural-) coloured- and/or genuine-leather-based so-called: officers'-type-belt (ie. 'Zweidornschnalle für Offiziere') being a wonderfully preserved example that is approximately 105 cms. sized in length (and having a width of approximately 5,2 cms.) and that is totally void of a makers'-designation and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. clearly issued- and/or moderately used- and/or worn- but regrettably damaged-), condition. The piece is naturally still fully souple and of course fully functional. The 'pebbled'-styled, greyish-silver-toned and/or zinc-based buckle measures approximately 6,5 x 4,5 cms.: it shows a clearly present maker-designation (that reads: 'A' or: 'Assmann & Söhne' (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece comes naturally complete with its (often missing!) double(!) 'Laschen' (as can be seen on the pictures). The belt is of course fully functional but regrettably shows only one 'claw': the other is missing and has been regrettably broken-off (as can be seen on the pictures). It should be noted that this naturally a genuine, WWII-period example and NOT a post-war piece or alike. Simply a very attractive, standard-issue-pattern, 'officers'-type-belt ie. 'Zweidornschnalle für Offiziere' that is - I deem - priced according to its missing 'claw': still great to use on any mannequin or equipment-set-up!
