This is an attractive example of a silverish-coloured- and/or typical aluminium-based WH (Heeres) 'Stab'- (ie. 'Wehrkreis') related ID-disc (ie. 'Erkennungsmarke') that is bearing the clearly stamped unit-designation that simply reads: 'Stellv.Gen.Kdo.IX.A.K.' (and as such being a disc that was - I deem - intended for a soldier or NCO who served within the replacement staff of the 9th army corps ie. '9. Armee Korps'-) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit clearly used ie. worn-), condition. The attractive disc comes in overall nice condition (and is executed in an attractive letter-type!) and shows the clear evidence of having been used ie. worn (it shows somewhat 'torn-out'-holes as can be seen on the pictures). The disc also shows the stamped bearers'-blood-group-type (type 'A') something that is more often but not always observed. The disc - which is unusually quite low-numbered and bears the number '227' - was never cleaned nor polished (it is still a bit stained and/or dirty). The disc originates from a larger ID-disc collection that was compiled over many years. Simply an attractive and honest WH (Heeres) 'Stab'-related ID-disc that is with certainty accordingly priced!
