Attractive - and fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres) early-war-period- (ie. 'M36'- ie. 'M40'-pattern, 'tailor-made'- and/or rounded-styled) NCO-type shoulderstraps as was intended for a: 'Wachtmeister eines (Sturm)Art.-Abts. o. Rgts.' This is a very attractive - and fully matching! - pair of (I deem) 'tailor-made'- (ie. 'privately-purchased'-) pattern, WH (Heeres) early-war period- (ie. 'M36'- ie. 'M40'-pattern and/or: rounded-styled) NCO-type shoulderstraps (ie. 'Schulterstücke für Unteroffiziere des Heeres') as was piped in the desirable bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Wachtmeister eines (Sturm)Artillerie-Abteilungs o. Regiments' (or: sergeant who served within an artillery unit or regiment) and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. minimally used- ie. worn-), condition. The neat straps - which have the 'standard'-pattern, darker-green-coloured and/or typical 'smooth woolen'- (ie. 'boiled wool') based 'upperdecks' and that measure approximately 11,5 cms. in length each - show the neat bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured and/or woolen-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). Both straps show a (regular-sized- and/or aluminium-based) pip attached denoting the NCOs-rank of: 'Wachtmeister o. Feldwebel'. I deem that they once had some metal numerals attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps - that show the typical (bluish) silverish-toned NCO-braid attached - come naturally mounted onto their period-attached- (regular-shaped- and also 'boiled-woolen'-based) tongues attached and come both in a very nice- (ie. fully 'text-book') condition overall (as can be seen on the pictures). The pair only shows minimal wear and/or age and is just very nicely preserved (as can be seen on the pictures). I deem this an excellent occasion to acquire a neat NCO-type, '(Sturm)Artillerie'-related shoulderstrap-pair for a justified price!
