Superb, WH (Heeres ie. Waffen-SS) 'Krim'-campaign-shield (as was produced by a by me unidentified maker) and that comes in a presumably issued - albeit 'virtually mint', condition

This is an attractive example of a non-maker-marked, WH (Heeres ie. Waffen-SS) 'Krim'-campaign-shield as was produced by a by me unidentified maker and that comes in a probably issued albeit 'virtually mint'- (and with certainty never tunic-attached-), condition. The shield - that comes mounted onto its original, field-grey-coloured 'backing' - comes in a truly wonderful condition and was with certainty never worn nor used. It comes naturally complete with its metal-based back-plate and has all its four prongs in place: moreover, does it still retain its (typical) protective, greenish-coloured- and/or paper-based backing attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The shield - which is minimally converse-shaped as more often - retains all of its original-, bright-golden-coloured- and 'glossy' finish ie. bronze-like appearance (almost all its period 'Brennlack' is still present!) and was never cleaned nor polished: it does show some minimal (rust)staining caused by decades of storage only. Simply a very attractive and desirable 'Heeres ie. Waffen-SS'-pattern example that was surely issued but simply never worn. It should be noted that these 'minty' examples are quite hard to come by: it will be impossible to upgrade this specimen!
