This is an attractive example of an - I deem mid- (ie. later-) war-pattern - 'SS' (ie. 'Waffen-SS') so-called: 'BeVo-weave-style', enlisted-mens'- (ie. NCO-) pattern arm-eagle (ie. 'Ärmeladler für Mannschaften u. Unteroffiziere') as was intended for usage by the various Waffen-SS troops throughout the war and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. never worn- nor tunic-attached- ie. 'virtually mint'-), condition. The neat and desirable piece - which shows the machine-embroidered- and/or truly greyish-silver-coloured stitching on a black-coloured- and/or linnen-based background - shows some mimimal age and/or staining caused by minimal wear and/or decades of storage only (it only shows a few moth-holes on its backing). The eagle is a 'text-book' example of a so-called: 'BeVo-woven'-type, arm-eagle. Simply a very nice - and of course 100% guaranteed original! - Waffen-SS arm-eagle which will be very hard to be upgraded!
