Superb - fully matching and rarely encountered! - pair of WH (Heeres) NCO-type shoulderstraps as piped in the green-coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage on the: 'Gebirgsjäger' 3/4-type rain-coat (ie. Regenjacke') Superb - fully matching and rarely encountered! - pair of WH (Heeres) NCO-type shoulderstraps as piped in the green-coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage on the: 'Gebirgsjäger' 3/4-type rain-coat (ie. This is a very attractive - fully matching and with certainty rarely encountered! - pair of WH (Heeres) NCO-type shoulderstraps as piped in the typical green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage on the: 'Gebirgsjäger' 3/4-type rain-coat (ie. 'Sommerjacke') and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. most certainly moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The straps - which measure approximately 12,7 cms. in length each - have the typical green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured and woolen-type piping attached and were most certainly intended for usage on the specific 'Gebirgsjäger' so-called: '3/4-model' protective jacket ie. rain-coat. The straps - which are with certainty of the regular-issued pattern and that are constructed of fine-structured, field-grey-coloured linnen (just as the rain-coats) - come mounted onto their functional tongues and come of course in a very nice, ie. fully 'text-book' condition overall. The straps - which were used by an NCO holding the rank of 'Unteroffizier' - have the silverish-grey-coloured- (ie. 'standard-issue'-) type NCO-braid attached denoting that they were intended for an NCO with the rank of: 'Unteroffizier' (or: junior-sergeant). The pair shows - as stated above - just moderate age and/or wear: they were clearly used and do show some minimal age, wear and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The set was with certainty always together and was worn as such. Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact this pair had apparently once two pairs of metal cyphers (ie. 'Ziffern') attached (I deem the number '13'): this was, however, against the regulations and the NCO presumably had to remove these (the traces, however, are still clearly visible (as can be seen on the pictures). The pair has most certainly once been glued into an album or scrapbook: some glue- ie. carton-remains are still present and visible. This is only the second time I have ever encountered such a neat pair in this ('Gebirgsjäger'-related-) branchcolour and I only sell them because I have a similar pair in my private-collection: simply a superb pair of army-type shoulderstraps of great rarity!
