This is an attractive - and just minimally used- ie. worn! - example of regular sized, mid-war-period- and/or black-coloured WH (Heeres o. Waffen-SS etc.) 'standard-issue'-pattern belt (ie. 'Koppelriemen') being a 95 cms. sized example that shows a clearly present, impressed makers'- ie. date-designation (that reads: 'E.D. Götze & Sohn - Gersdorf - 1942') and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. moderately used- and/or worn-), condition. The belt is of the typical, 'standard-issued'-pattern having a leather-based 'tongue'-attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece was hardly used and its overall condition is still very nice and of course fully functional and/or souple. The metal- (ie. steel-) based catch retains most (ie. all!) of its (anodised) greenish- ie. field-grey-coloured finish. It should be noted that these 'standard-issue' belts are nowadays getting hard to come by (especially those neatly maker-marked- and nicely preserved examples as executed in blackened-leather). Hard to find a more nicely preserved and/or attractive example: the belt just needs an equally nicely preserved belt-buckle to complete!
