Superb, 'Zollgrenzschütz-Ehrenzeichen' (or: customs loyal-service medal) that comes mounted as a so-called: 'Einzelspange' (showing a bluish-coloured 'Bandabschnitt' showing the interwoven 'Zollgrenzschütz'-eagle-device)

This is truly attractive - and actually very scarcely encountered! - example of a single-mounted award (ie. 'Einzelspange') holding a: 'Zollgrenzschütz-Ehrenzeichen' (or: customs loyal-service medal) that comes mounted onto its period bluish-coloured ribbon (having a separately-attached 'Bandabschnitt' showing the interwoven 'Zollgrenzschütz'-eagle-device) and that comes in an overall very nice- (and most certainly issued and/or minimally used- and/or worn-), condition. The very detailed award is just a tiny bit tarnished but retains a great, untouched age-patina overall (it has - I deem - never been cleaned nor polished). The award - which comes as stated above mounted as a so-called: 'Einzelspange' - shows a chrome-steel-based 'backing-plate' (having a functional pin ie. catch) that is 'covered' with a cornflower-blue-coloured ribbon, showing the interwoven golden-yellow-coloured 'Zollgrenzschütz'-eagle-device separately attached (as is more often seen). Simply a very nicely preserved (and truly scarcely seen!) 'Einzelspange' depicting a detailed 'Zollgrenzschütz-Ehrenzeichen': only the first suche piece I ever had on offer!
