The attractive - and fully 'text-book' albeit regrettably mis-matched but most certainly always been together - pair of WH (Heeres) enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstraps is piped in the desirable white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour and measures approximately 12,6 (ie. 12,9) cms. in length each. The straps have the desirable white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured- and/or: 'silk-like'-type piping attached (as is more often encountered with these mid-war-period shoulderstrap-pairs) and were as such intended for usage by a simple soldier who served within the infantry-regiment, numbered: '112' (something that can naturally easily be deducted from the attached 'Übershube'-pair). The shoulderstraps - which originate from a larger cloth- ie. shoulderstrap-collection I recenly acquired for the web-site - are typical 'standard-issued'-examples that have the field-grey-coloured- and/or woolen-based 'upperdecks': they were - I deem - only moderately used ie. worn and do show some minimal wear, age and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps come naturally mounted onto their functional tongues and came with a (matching) pair of (field-grey-coloured- and/or woolen-based-) so-called: shoulderstrap-slip-ons (ie. 'Übershuben') attached bearing both the unit-designation: '112' (as executed in equally white-coloured, so-called: 'Kurbelstickerei' done in wool as can be seen on the pictures). Both the shoulderstraps and/or: 'Übershuben' come in an overall nice and/or totally undamaged condition (as can be seen on the pictures). These desirable 'M43'-pattern, army-infantry-related EM-type shoulderstraps as piped in the 'weisser'-coloured branchcolour can nowadays easily be graded 'fairly scarce'. Simply an attractive - albeit regrettably mis-matched! - pair that belonged to a: 'Soldat des Infanterie-Regiments 112'!
