Attractive, 'Eisernes Kreuz 2. Kl.' (ie. Iron Cross 2nd Class) being a maker- (ie. '65'-) marked example that comes stored in its period 'Zellstoff'-based pouch as was produced by the: 'Klein & Quenzer'-company
This is an attractive - and fully complete and untouched! - example of an: 'Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse' (ie. Iron Cross 2nd Class) being a clearly maker- (ie. '65'-) marked example as was produced by the: 'Klein & Quenzer'-company as based in the town of Lüdenscheid and that comes stored in its period, 'Zellstoff'-based pouch and that comes in an overall very nice- (and I deem issued- albeit never used- nor even mounted-), condition. The piece on offer here has never been cleaned and shows a very nice (blackened- and truly 'satin-like'-) patina and shows a fully undamaged, black-coloured 'inner-core'-section. The piece - which does show the clearly present makers'-designation '65' stamped into its ring - has lost its polished sides (or: 'hochpolierte Kanten') and does show some minimal storage-age. It came stored in its accompanying, blue-coloured- and 'Zellstoff'-based pouch and came together with its 'virtually mint', full-length- (ie. approx. 29 cms. long-sized-) ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschitt') as issued and/or stored for decades. As stated above has the cross great and very fine detail: it is just a bit 'tarnished' over the years and has never been cleaned (it is just a tiny bit dusty). Simply a neat - and complete! - IC-set by the 'Klein & Quenzer'-company that is - I deem - accordingly priced!
