This is a very attractive (and fully complete!) example of an: 'Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse' (ie. Iron Cross 2nd Class) being a non-maker-marked example as was produced by the: 'Wilhelm Deumer'-company as based in the town of Lüdenscheid and that comes stored in its period, 'Zellstoff'-based pouch and that comes in an overall very nice- (and I deem issued- albeit simply never worn nor even mounted- ie. 'virtually mint'-), condition. The attractive piece on offer here has never been cleaned and shows a superb (blackened- and somewhat 'satin-like'-) patina and shows a totally undamaged, black-coloured inner-core-section and retains very nicely preserved polished sides (or: 'hochpolierte Kanten'): I deem that it was once issued but simply never worn: it does show, however, some regular storage-age. The attractive piece came stored in its accompanying, blue-coloured 'Zellstoff'-based pouch (and also still had its piece of thin-shaped wrapping-paper) together with its long-sized (full-length- ie. 29 cms. long-sized-) ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschitt') as issued and/or stored for decades. The pouch shows a (hard to decypher, inked name of the recipient as can be noticed on the pictures). As stated above has the cross great and very fine detail: it is just a bit 'tarnished' over the years and has never been cleaned (it is just a tiny bit dusty). Simply a very nice and fully untouched IC-related item that is accordingly priced!
