The neat - albeit clearly used but fully matching! - WH (Luftwaffe) collar-patch-pair (ie. 'Kragenspiegelsatz') is executed in the typical, golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured- and/or truly 'smooth'- (ie. 'felt-like'-type-) wool (as can be seen on the pictures). The patches were clearly used- ie. once tunic-attached: they shows some obvious wear, age and/or staining and still show some thread- ie. stitching-remains with which they were once tunic-attached (as can be seen on the pictures). Both tabs show three (partly identical- and/or typical aluminium based-) silver-greyish-coloured gulls (ie. wings) period-attached and are both nicely 'backed' with the beige-coloured- (and/or 'buckram'-based-) material as more often encountered. This attractive 'Kragenspiegel'-pair was recently found at a private-household in Germany and was never before in collectors'-hands. It should furthermore be noted that these genuine, 'Flieger o. Fallschirmjäger'-related LW-collar-tabs are nowadays not that easily encountered. Simply an attractive - and truly used- and worn! - LW-collar-tab pair that is - I deem - accordingly priced!
