Superb - and actually scarcely encountered! - EM- (ie. NCO-) type, so-called: 'Schutzmannschaften'- (ie. 'Schuma'-) related armband (ie. 'Armbinde') depicting the printed text: 'Im Dienste der Sicherheitspolizei'

This is attractive - and actually quite scarcely encountered! - (I deem) enlisted-mens'- (ie. NCO-) pattern, typical bright-green-coloured- and neatly printed, so-called:'Schutzmannschaften'- (ie. 'Schuma'-) related armband (ie. 'Armbinde') depicting the printed text: 'Im Dienste der Sicherheitspolizei' and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. I deem hardly used- ie. 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'-) condition. The neat armband - that measures: 42 x 8,7 cms. - is executed in typical bright-green-coloured linnen (and shows the black-coloured- and printed text: 'Im Dienste der Sicherheitspolizei') and as such signified the close interrelation between the - notorious! - 'Schuma' units and the German police (ie. 'Polizei') ie. Waffen-SS and/or SD units. The piece shows stitched borders (in blackk-coloured linnen) and comes in an overall very nice- and (I deem) hardly used, condition and just shows some minimal age ie. staining caused by decades of storage only. The piece shows two (identical- and I deem early-pattern ink-stamps (which are regrettably undecyherable as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a nice - and actually rarely encountered! - 'Ostvölker'-related 'Armbinde' that was intended for a staff-member who served within the notorious 'Schutzmannschaften'- (ie. 'Schuma'-) Truppen'!
