This is an attractive example of a WH (Heeres) so-called: trade- and/or special-career arm-insignia (ie. 'Laufbahn- o. Tätigkeitsabzeichen') as was specifically intended for an army: 'Feuerwerker' (or: artician NCO) being a neatly hand-embroidered variant as executed on darker-green-coloured wool and that comes in an overall nice- (I deem just minimally worn- ie. once tunic-attached-), condition. The piece is neatly hand-embroidered on a darker-green-coloured- and/or woolen-based background and shows a (detailed and/or neatly hand-embroidered, Gothic-styled) 'F'-character as executed in bright-yellow-coloured linnen: moreover, does this piece show a (silver-toned- and braid-based) 'rim' denoting that the NCO who wore this piece had a one-years'-experience as a: 'Feuerwerker' (as can be seen on the pictures). The patch is, moreover, nicely backed with a piece of beige-coloured linnen (as is more often encountered). Simply a nice occasion to acquire an attractive WH (Heeres) trade-/specialist-badge for a competitive price!
