Attractive, typical darker-greyish-blue-coloured, so-called: German Red Cross (ie. 'Deutsches Rotes Kreuz' or: 'DRK' EM- (ie. NCO-) type side-cap (ie. 'Schiffchenmütze für Mannschaften u. This is an attractive, typical darker-greyish-blue-coloured, so-called: German Red Cross (ie. 'Deutsches Rotes Kreuz' or: 'DRK' enlisted-mens'- (ie. NCO-) type side-cap (ie. 'Schiffchenmütze für Mannschaften u. Unteroffiziere des deutschen Rotes Kreuzes') being a a non-maker-marked and/or: regular-sized example that shows its period-attached 'BeVo'-woven insignia (and white-coloured 'Soutache'!) and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit minimally used- ie. worn), condition. The cap - which is executed in the typical darker-greyish-blue-coloured (ie. 'DRK-pattern') woolen-based cloth ie. wool - shows no damage whatsoever and is marked on the inside (ie.blue-ink-stamped) with a size-designation (that reads '57') as can be seen on the pictures. The neat side-cap - which is I deem a typical example of a 'standard-issued'-type DRK-side-cap of the second pattern - is a regular-sized example that measures 57 cms. (which is a size that would easily fit a mannequins'-head as can be seen on the pictures). The side-cap shows a linnen-based, bluish-coloured lining (as can be seen on the pictures). The cap shows only minimal staining and/or age (just caused by decades of storage and/or moderate wear) but truly retains all its woolen-based 'nap' and is totally void of any damage. It shows a (typical) 'BeVo'-woven DRK-eagle-device (period-mounted onto its side) and (woolen-type) cap-cocarde period-attached: next to this it also shows the greyish-white-coloured 'Soutache-Winkel' on its front. The cap originated from a private-household in Germany and was never before on collectors-hands: it comes in a fully untouched condition as issued, worn- and recently found. Simply a very attractive - and naturally 100% genuine! - example of an (I deem) early- ie. mid-war-period-pattern 'Schiffchenmütze für Mannschaften u. Unteroffiziere des deutschen Rotes Kreuzes' that is I deem accordingly priced!
