'Standard-issue'-pattern, WH (Heeres) sword-knot (ie. 'Portepee') as executed in green-coloured leather combined with silver-green-coloured 'bullion' and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. I deem just moderately used- ie. worn-), condition

This is an attractive - and I deem issued and/or moderately used - example of a 'standard-issue'-pattern, WH (Heeres) sword-knot (ie.: 'Portepee für Offizierssäbel') being an example that was executed in typical green-coloured leather combined with silver-green-coloured 'bullion' and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. I deem just moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. These pieces were specifically intended for usage on the various WH dress-swords (ie. 'Offizierssäbel'). The piece shows some minimal age, and/or staining but is totally undamaged and comes in a fully functional and souple condition (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece is of the regular-sized pattern and measures approximately 36 cms. (ie. with knot 41,5 cms.) in length. Simply an attractive piece that will be very hard to be upgraded and that would look awesome if re-mounted onto any German sword!
