Attractive, pre-war-period- (and Third-Reich-related) metal-based (ie. bright-golden-coloured- and I deem copper-based-) 'souvenir'-ring depicting an engraved outline of a: 'Westwall'-fortification and showing the engraved text: 'Westwall 1939-40'

The neat (and with certainty male-type- and/or: larger-sized) finger-ring is executed in bright-golden-coloured- and I deem copper-based metal and retains great pronounced detail. It is void of any makers'-designation (as more often). The ring is clearly worn ie. used (it is still a bit tarnished and was with certainty never cleaned nor polished). The detail on the (nicely detailed) engraved 'Westwall'-fortification and engraved text: 'Westwall 1939-40' is, however, nicely preserved and void of any damage or alike (as can be seen on the pictures). These 'souvenir'-rings could be privately purchased from local-artisans and were very popular amongst the troops serving in the area. Simply a neat and 100% genuine example that originates from a German private-household where it was recently uncovered!
