This is an attractive - albeit regrettably single! - typical later-war-period, so-called: 'M44'-pattern- and/or 'simplified' WH (Heeres) enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstrap as was piped in the bright-green- (ie. 'hellgrüner'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for usage by a: 'Soldat der Panzer-Grenadier-Truppen' (or: simple soldier who served within the later-war-period, infantry-related rifle-troops) and that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem hardly used- nor worn-), condition. The shoulderstrap - which measures approximately 11,8 cms. in length as more often seen - has the neat, 'silk-like'-type piping attached (as is more encountered with these later-war-period shoulderstraps). The shoulderstrap - which originates from a larger cloth- and insignia-collection I recently acquired - is constructed following the typical '1944 cloth-minimising production-manner' using different shades of wool and/or material (as can be seen on the pictures). The strap comes naturally mounted onto its functional tongue. It should be noted that all 'M44'-pattern, EM-type straps are actually quite hard to find and can easily be graded 'scarce': even more so when they are piped in the desirable, bright-green- (ie. 'hellgrüner'-) coloured branchcolour. Simply an attractive - and/or fully 'text-book'-, M44-pattern EM-type 'Panzer-Grenadiere'-shoulderstrap that was intended for usage by a: 'Soldat der Panzer-Grenadier-Truppen'!
